Design Your Figure with DESIGNER BODY RETREAT

To make the most of your Designer Body Makeover Retreat experience and to more easily be able to continue your makeover at home, we offer many eye opening and informative classes during the 11:00 am and 2:00 pm group meals.  We spread these classes between two separate weeks so there is almost always something new to learn.  Below you will find a brief synopsis of each class:

1. Advanced Nutrition Concepts: During the advanced nutrition concepts lecture, you will be exposed to several conclusive scientific research studies that will enable you to understand how we achieve such rapid results and adapt each concept to your body’s unique needs.

2. Basics of Nutrition: The basics of nutrition gives you an outline of how we use your body’s natural adaptation into overdrive to speed up your metabolic rate and fat burning with correct proteins, carbohydrates, vegetables, and water for your body type.

3. Calories vs. Real Nutrients: Most nutritionists will tell you how many calories to eat to lose weight but what does this mean for your body?  How do you know which calories are going to benefit your health the most and optimize your weight loss?  These are the concepts you will learn in this eye opening lecture!

4. Fat Burning Exercises:  We have made a great deal of advancement in the understanding of how the body utilizes stored fat during various levels and types of activities.  Finally there is conclusive and specific guidelines that will help you design the optimal fat burning exercise program for you!

5. Getting Fit vs. Shaping Your Body:  Michelangelo did not sculpt the statue of David with a sledgehammer.  This class shows you the fundamentals of our exercise methodology called “Specifically Applied Resistance” and how this method uses precise, refined movements to sculpt your body quickly and predictably so you get the body you’ve always wanted!

6. How to Feed Your Body Based on Energy Requirements:  Most people eat based on culture and cravings but what do those cravings really tell you.  Your body has a way of communicating to you what nutrients it really needs.  Learn the tell-tale signs and how to identify and act on those messages from your body to eat optimally and continue your rapid body transformation.

7. How to Order Out:  A large part of today’s society is being social and going out to eat.  Ordering out can seem like a challenge but, with the knowledge you will gain from this lecture, you will be able to stay on your program just about anywhere and under any circumstances.

8. How to Maintain Your New Body:  Most people gain the weight back after they lose the weight.  Part of the problem is that they are not given a proper maintenance plan once they arrive at their goal.  With this program, we will help you maintain your new body easily.  Kris Reid, one of the founders of the Designer Body Makeover Retreat lost 60 pounds in 2000 and has kept it off since!  It is simply a matter of knowing how to eat to maintain.

9. Overcoming Common Pitfalls at Home:  The Designer Body Makeover Retreat experience is the quite possibly the easiest way to lose unwanted body fat in the world.  Eat the deliciously prepared meals prepared and delivered conveniently to you, walk along the beach or on the treadmill, perform light resistance exercise, and enjoy your massage or other spa treatment in the evening.  It doesn’t get much better or easier than this!  In this class, you will learn how to overcome the most common obstacles once you get home and re-enter the real world so you can continue your makeover successfully!

10. Planning Your Meals for Optimum Results:  Once again, we temporarily revisit the real world in this class to teach you how to plan your meals based on your unique schedule and activities at home.  With the easy to use template and recipe list, you can successfully optimize your program around your daily schedule and requirements.

11. Stress and Your Body:  Stress is one of the number one killers in the U.S. today and it can also significantly hinder your weight loss attempts.  This is yet another reason why our retreat is so popular and beneficial!  Get away from the stress and forget the problems while you are here, learn how stress impacts your body and how you can successfully manage the various kinds of stresses in your life.

12. Stretching and Restoring Balance in Your Body:  Why are some muscles tight and painful to stretch?  Is it beneficial to feel pain when you stretch?  How can you make your muscles more flexible?  The answer is to restore balance to the body the strong muscles do not overpower the weak ones and cause pain.  We will explain and show you how in addition to creating a program for you to restore balance to your body.

13. Visualization:  One of the most important yet underutilized concepts in athletics, business, and any goal driven situations.  Learn several powerful visualization concepts in this interactive session.

14. What to Expect:  Many clients don’t realize how much control they actually have regarding the shaping and health of their own bodies.  Learn how you can eliminate the need for medications, create a waist, correct poor posture, and eliminate pain associated with weak and imbalanced muscles.

15. What to Look For on Nutrition Labels: Just because food has no calories, doesn’t mean it is something your body needs or is going to help you achieve your ideal body.  Stop looking at calories and fat and start really understanding what you are putting in your body.
